LOUIS WYCHE SR. was born to the late Ruben and Addie Floyd-Wyche on August 22, 1938. He was the youngest of ten children. Lorraine, Anna Bell, James, Roscoe, Harry, Henry, Kae Lou, Roscoe Jr. and Alphonso (Carolyn). All but Alphonso preceded him in death. Louis was educated in the Tallahassee School System. Louis met and married Mary Agnes Baker on February 14, 1958. They spent 57 wonderful years together. From this union they had 6 children. Jackie, Manny, Angie, Michael, Timmy, and Chris. At the tender age of 19 Louis provided for his family for a short while in Jacksonville Florida, before he migrated to Philadelphia and become employed by General Felt Industries. Once finding a home for them he sent for them to come to Philadelphia where he spent the rest of his life. After over 32 years of service Louis retired from GFI. Louis found the lord and gave his life to Christ at an early age. Louis joined Holy Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church where he became a Trustee for many years before becoming a Deacon. Louis enjoyed entertaining his friends & family on Fridays after work with fish fry & fun. He enjoyed taking trips to Florida for lengthy vacations as often as he could; Louis enjoyed his family and loved them all. Before taking ill he enjoyed fishing, sports cars, spending time with family friends, & watching the Phillies & Eagles games. He will be remember for his quote “Give me some money boy” and “Go get me a soda”. Louis leaves to cherish his precious memories his wonderful wife & caregiver of 57 years Mary “Agnes”; 6 children: Jacquelyn Baylis (Joe), Manny (Cindy), Angelia Davis (Steve), Michael, Timothy, & Christopher; Brothers: Alphonso Sr. (Carol), 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, the boys from around the way and very special friends, Booker, Al and Jimmy. He will be missed by ALL.
